[Day. Dunwyn Forest. A two-horse carriage on the road]
Rich Lady:
	Goodwyn, do you have any idea where we are?
Goodwyn:
	Sorry, Milady, must have taken the wrong turn at the crossroads.
[two thiefs come from behind the trees]
Thief1:
	And it's good thing you did.
Thief2:
	Good for us, anyways. hehe
Thief1 pulls the necklace off the Lady's neck:
	You can stand to loose a few pounds, ma'm
Rich Lady:
	My necklace!
Thief1:
	Oh, don't worry. It will be in good hands. Mine!
[Crimson Avenger flies above the thieves, pulls the necklace from the Theif1's
 hands and lands on a branch of a nearby tree, only his crimson red gloves,
 hat, gold button on his cape and cape can be seen, the rest of him is in
 shadows ]
Cubbi as Crimson Avenger (as he holds the necklace, it shines in the light):
	Surrender, scalwages, your theiving days are over!
Thieves:
	It's the Crimson Avenger!
Cubbi as Crimson Avenger (shown in close up, but still only his cape,
 hat and gloves are seen clear as he hold the necklace in one gloved paw,
 and a rope in another gloved paw.)
	The one and only!
[Crimson Avenger is shown attaching the necklace to some part of his outfit,
 but is can't been seen, he then grabs the rope with both goved paws and then
 swings down upon the thieves, still only his hat, cape, gold button, and
 gloves are clearly visible, but now as he swings, the soles of his feet can
 be seen clearly, a fight ensues, on thief hits the other with his club, the
 other, holding a crowsbow, drops it as his partner hits him over the head, it
 fires and shoots off thief 1 hat.]
Thieves seeing Crimson Avenger bouncing away:
	Hey, hold still!
[they run after Cubbi who strings a rope across their way, upon which they trip
 and fall over]
Cubbi as Crimson Avenger:
	Crime doesn't pay you, riffraff
[the Thieves run away, and Crimson Avenger, turns, bounces back, lands on top
 of the carriage, and then returns the necklace to the Lady]
Rich Lady:
	Thank you kind sir
Cubbi as Crimson Avenger:
	All in a day's work for the Crimson Avenger!
[Crimson Avenger jumps off top of the carriage, and bounces off]
[near Gummi Glen. An apple falls on the grass and triggers a hidden
 gummi-ejector]
Gruffi (wearing a shoulder tool holster) secures the ejector back in place
 with a screwdriver:
	Perfect. This new gummi-ejector works like a charm.
Thieves runs by:
	Move it ... he's gaining on us!!!
Cubbi as Crimson Avenger:
	Run, cowards, or feel the sting of my blazing sword!
[at one of the bounces Crimson Avenger's hat raises for a second, finally
 showing the face of the Crimson Avenger, suddenly Gruffi recognizes Cubbi]
Gruffi catches him by the end of the cape:
	Cubbi? Just a minute, buster!
[as Cubbi is grabbed by the end of his cape, meke a gagging sound as he is
 pulled back to were Gruffi is.]
Cubbi raises the brim of his hat as he turns and reconizing Gruffi:
	Gruffi?
Gruffi:
	What are you doing in that outfit?
Cubbi removes his hat and holds it in his gloved paws:
	Uh.. um.. well.. I.. er..
Gruffi: (as he starts to scold cubbi, cubbi can be seen standing up,
 through his cape)
	Look, kid, pretending to be that Crimson Avenger fella, its dangerous.
Cubbi (looking surprized)
	Pretending?
Gruffi: (as he scolds Cubbi more, he grabs his gloved paw and pulls him toward
 a tree stump door and as cubbi puts his hat back on, picks him up by the arms
 and drops Cubbi down the tree stump door]
	Yeah, a costumed clown is always getting into trouble. And the one
	thing we don't need - it's you getting into anymore. Case closed.
[Gruffi closes the door]

[In an undeground tunnel near Dunwyn]
Igthorn:
	Aren't you finished yet, Toadworth?
Toadie:
	Patience, oh, demanding one, just a few more inches and we'll be inside
	Dunwyn Castle
Igthorn:
	Excellent, excellent! Using the secret tunnel to kidnap the princess
	is just the first step in my ingeneous plan. The castle will soon be
	mine!
Toadie:
	Up and coming Toadie will be right behind you, Dukey as we boldly
	venture forth into Dunwyn and triumphantly claim our frightfull rewards
[they dig into the botton of the Dunwyn moat and the water throws them out of
 their tunnel]
Toadie:
	Oh well, if at first you don't succeed,
[Igthorn looks very angry at Toadie]
[scene changes, Toadie is now on a catapult]
	..try, try again
Igthorn:
	You are nothing but a miserable worthless pathetic little one
Toadie:
	What are you trying to say, You Gracefullness?
Igthorn:
	Your through!!!
[Toadie is thrown from the Drekmore catapult. He lands on a tree and looses all
 his clothes on its upper branches as he falls through them to the ground]
Toadie:
	This is not red letter day for life of the party Toadie

[on a cliff above Gruffi and Cubbi who is holding the Crimson Avenger constume]
Cubbi:
	But Gruffi!
Gruffi:
	But nothing. That costume is only gonna get you in trouble.
	DUMP IT!
[Gruffi points down off the cliff]
Cubbi throws the costume down:
	Farewell, Crimson Avenger..

[Below, Toadie is walking, dressed in moss draped around his waist]
Toadie:
	Oh, poor castaway Toadie now blown my chance to ride triumphantly into
	Dunwyn with my dear Dukey.
[Crimson Avenger outfit falls on Toadie]
Toadie (covered completely in the red cape)
	Help! Don't hurt me! I.. 
[he pulls back the cape and sees the costume]
	What? Wa-wee! 
[Toadie in the hat picks up the mask and goes to a pool to look at his
 reflection]
Toadie puts on the mask of the Crimson Avenger:
	Now I am really in style!

[cut to an old man who is being robbed by the two thieves we saw before]
Thief2:
	Come on old man! I ain't got all day you know!
[Toadie dressed as Crimson Avenger occacionally walks at this scene]
Toadie:
	Oh, excuse me
Both theives, shocked:
	The Crimson Avenger!
[they run away]
Toadie looks around:
	Where?
Old Man:
	Oh, thank you Crimson Avenger, thank you!
[He comes up to Toadie and starts giving him all the stuff (pots and pans) the
 thieves were going to take from him]
Toadie:
	But I am not Crimson Aven-
[he collapses under the pile, and then climbs out from it]
Toadie:
	Yes, yes I am! I am!

[Dunwyn, from afar]
Sound of crowds cheering:
	Hooray for the Crimson Avenger! Hooray!
[Inside, the crowd carries Toadie as Crimson Avenger]
Toadie:
	They like me! They really like me! First time in miserable life,
	people love Toadie!
[Toadie jumps down of the square, sees a fruit-seller's cart, runs to it and
 starts eating fast and shoves a large sausige where the sword should be, on
 the belt. He then grabs as much food as he can hold, as the Food Seller
 appears]
Food Seller:
	Excuse me, mister Avenger, but the food's not free, you know
Toadie walks away with food:
	Eh, just put it on my tab.
[Toadie is seen walking off holding the food and eating]
Voice of Calla screams from afar:
	Heelp!
[People run up to Toadie]
Boy:
	Pricess Calla's been kidnapped!
Woman:
	Oh, Hurry Crimson Avenger! She needs your help!
Toadie:
	Lion-harted Avenger is a tad hungry. Could he save her after lunch?
[The people look at Toadie sternly]
Toadie:
	Guess not, he-he-he
Calla, being carried on the shoulder of a dark, hooded figure:
	Let me go you brute!
Toadie:
	Unhand her, er, villaneous villain!
[The figure turns around and, though the face is still shaded by the hood, we
 recognize Igthron by voice (Toadie does not)]
Igthorn:
	What? Who are you?
Toadie:
	I.. I, er, the defender of Dunwyn!
[Toadie pulls out the sausige and holds it like a sword]
	Hero of the people! Striking fear into the hearts of..
[Toadie notices that he is not holding a sword and stops and at the same moment
 Igthorn kicks him off]
Igthorn:
	Out of my way, you buffoon!
[Toadie flies into the watching crowd, which throws him back into Igthorn]
Man:
	Go get him, Avenger!
Toadie as he flies into Igthorn:
	No!
[Toadie lands on Igthorn's head and starts beating him with the sausage]
Toadie:
	Take that! and that! and that!
Igthorn:
	Stop that you annoying little man!
[Igthorn releases his grasp on Calla in order to get Toadie, but Calla
 immidiately kicks him so that his hood falls off and both Calla and Toadie
 recognize him]
Calla:
	Igthorn!
Toadie:
	Uh.. Dukey.
[Igthorn jumps into a drain]
Calla to Toadie:
	Don't you stand there! Stop Igthorn!
Toadie:
	Sorry, but weary Avenger ready to call it a day
[Toadie falls flat on the ground]
Calla:
	Some hero!

[Gummi Glen, Calla and the Gummies are in the Mail Hall]
Calla:
	You wouldn't believe it! The Crimson Avenger let that rat Igthorn dive
	back into his hole! So much for the Dashing Defender of Dunwyn!
Cubbi:
	But he's a hero! He would never act like that!
Gruffi:
	Oh, yeah. Looks like your hero isn't all he is cracked up to be.
Cubbi walks away:
	We'll see about that!

[Evening, Dunwyn. Toadie gets thrown out from some tavern]
People throwing Toadie out:
	hahahaha, AND STAY OUT YOU WORTHLESS BUM!
Toadie: [starting to stand up as he adjusts Crimson Avenger hat]
	Is that any way to treat a national hero
Cubbi's voice:
	Hold it right there, scoundrel!
Toadie looks up and sees Crimson Avenger on a roof in the shadows
	Scoundrel?
[Cubbi jumps down and stands in front of Toadie]
Toadie:
	But.. I am the Crimson Avenger!
Cubbi points his sword at Toadie:
	Prove it.
Toadie:
	Well got this snazy red cape and dangly feather and look at all
	these presents from loyal fans.
[Toadie pulls out the presents key, fish, brown boot and yoyo out of a secret
 pocket in the cape]
	Everyone loves me.
[holds the fish in one hand and the yoyo in the other]
Cubbi:
	Enough! You have dragged the name of the Crimson Avenger through
	the mud! Now you must pay! Stand and fight, coward!
Toadie steps back and starts running away:
	Sorry. Fighting angry avenger is bad for health.
Cubbi chases Toadie:
	Hey! Stop you phoney!!
[As the chase goes on they run on a roof, Toadie trips on a lose stone tile,
 it falls down, where two guards are playing checkers and turns their desk over
 and knocks over a mug of tea]
Guard:
	Blimmy, what was that?
Both Guards: [look up and point]
	Look, the Crimson Avenger!
Guard: (seeing only the back of the real Crimson Avenger jumping down from one
 roof to another)
	After him!
[The guards grab there axes and run after him, as soon as the guards leave,
 the barrel the checkers board was on moves back revealing a hole, Igthorn in
 his dark robe comes from a hole in the ground.]

[Calla's room]
Voices of the Guards are heard from outside:
	He's over there!  NO That way!
Calla wakes up:
	What on Earth?
[Shadow crawls over Calla's face, she looks startled]
Calla:
	Help!
[Igthorn closes her mouth with his hand]
Igthorn:
	Nothing to worry your precious little head about, my dear

[back to the chase]
Cubbi:
	You, varlet it, or face the wrath of my.. huh?
[He stops suddenly, sliding on the heels of his boots]
[Cubbi looks around an empty square and spots the edge of Toadie's cape under
 a pail lying near a well. Cubbi grins and squints his eyes, then comes closer
 and thrown the pail off with his sword, revealing Toadie]
Cubbi:
	Peekaboo!
Toadie points at somewhere behind Cubbi:
	Oh, looky, runaway waterwheel
Cubbi:
	Huh, Where?
Toadie throws Cubbi into the well.
	There!
Cubbi falls down
	Yowww *splash*
[Toadie looks down the well and chuckles as he watches Cubbi fall in the well,
 the is seen turning, and then walks proudly along the street]
Toadie:
	He He, now I am the only Crimson Aven-
[He bumps into Igthorn who is yet again carrying Princess Calla]
Igthorn:
	Well, well, if it isn't that medelsome little troublemaker..
[Igthorn picks Toadie up and tears off his mask, looking at Toadie shocked]
	Toadwart? You're the Crimson Avenger?
Toadie shakes his head no as he speaks:
	Me? No! Never heard of him.
Igthorn (putting Toadie down)
	Then why are you wearing these prepostorous rags?
Toadie:
	Fear not, oh, forgiving one, masquerading Toadie would never beat
	Dukey with a sausage, never, never, never..
Igthorn points at Toadie:
	So, it was you!
Toadie cowers in fear: (and as he does, his mask reapears for a second)
	No, Duckey, no!
Igthorn takes Toadie's paw and walks away with him:
	Come Toadwart, I got some smashing plans for you

[Cubbi climbs out of the well, well-soaked]
Cubbi coughs out water, and gags
	Ooh, when I get my hands on that two-bit phony..
Toadie's voice from afar:
	Help!
[Cubbi climbs out of the well, it can be seen how wet he is as he jumps down
 to the ground]
Cubbi:
	Uh-oh. Sound like a job for the Crimson Avenger!

[Two guards are ponting above, King Gregor comes into the scene, in pijamas,
 sleeping cap, and with a sword]
[sceen cuts to Igthorn holding Toadie by the gloved paw, holding Cala, tied up
 and gagged, over his shoulder]
Guard1:
	Look, it's Duke Igthorn
Guard2:
	He's got the Princess
King Gregor: (pointing his sword in Igthorn's direction)
	Release her, Igthorn, or I swear you shall pay dearly!
Igthorn:
	You want the brat, Gregor? She's yours!
[Igthorn throws the tied-up Calla off the roof]
King Gregor:
	Calla!
[Calla falls and then in mid air is caught from falling with a rope that
 lowers her down slowly]
Cubbi as Crimson Avenger appears in shadows on a peak of a tower:
	Surrender, villain, or face the sword of the Crimson Avenger!
Igthorn:
	What? Another one?
Cubbi:
	No! The only one! Yelahhh!!
[Cubbi bounces down and over Igthorn, Igthorn breaks off a flagpole and turns
 to Cubbi]
Igthorn (breaking the flagpole in half)
	Olf! You, wretched little runt!
Cubbi (looking up at Igthron, abit scared)
	Uh-oh!
[They fence, Igthorn is slowly driving Cubbi to a wall]
Toadie peeks from behind a corner and watches the fight:
	What courage, what fortitude, what a show!
[The fight goes on, untill Igthorn finally has Cubbi on an edge of the roof
 and causes Cubbi to lose his sword from his gloved paw]
Igthorn:
	A-ha! Say your prayers, hero! You've just swashed your last buckle!!!
Toadie:
	Oh, no.. Maybe not too late for Toadie to be real hero?
[Toadie takes a fish from the secret pocket of his cape - one of the "gifts
 from loyal fans" and throws it so that Igthorn trips on it and falls off the
 Dunwyn's fall into the moat]
Igthorn:
	What! OHHHHHHH!!!
Cubbi salutes Igthorn as he speaks:
	Let that be a listen, Igthorn! Never tangle with the Crimson Avenger!
[Cubbi jumps over to the other side of the roof, where the people below can see
 him and waves]
King Gregor:
	Three cheers for the Crimson Avenger!
Crowd:
	Hooray, Hooray, Hooray for the Crimson Avenger!
[Toadie sits next to and holds a castle wall on the roof, now without his mask
 again, looking depressed as he hears the cheering]

[Day, In the forest, Toadie (dressed in his old clothes now) hands his Crimson
 Avenger outfit to Cubbi (dressed as Crimson Avenger, of course)]
Toadie:
	Humble Toadie not worthy to wear this mantle of honour
[He lowers his ears and turns to leave]
Toadie:
	Maybe with lots of grobling, Dukey will let me be a doormat again
Cubbi stops him:
	Wait, you showed real courage tonight!
Toadie grabs on of Cubbi's gloved paws and shakes his paw:
	I did? Oh thank you, Your capedness.
Cubbi (pulling his gloved paw out of Toadie's hand):
	But you still make a lousy hero.
[Cubbi bounces away holding his now extra Crimson Avenger outfit in his left
 arm and paw, Toadie stays alone and wipes a tear]
Toadie:
	He said I have courage.. No more will valiant Toadie be doormat from
	now on. Demand to be footstool instead!

[In Gummi Glen, Cubbi, dressed normally, walks along a passageway, carrying
 only Crimson Avenger outfit (the one Toadie had)]
Cubbi:
	Whew, what a night..
[Cubbi stops as he sees Gruffi standing in his way]
Gruffi points at the costume Cubbi's holding:
	Hey I thought I told you to get rid of those rags
Cubbi (looking at his Crimson Avenger costume):
	Huh? Oh, oh, but Gruffi, I..
Gruffi puts his arms out:
	Hand them over.
[Cubbi hands the outfit to Gruffi, who immidiately starts walking away with it]
Cubbi:
	But what is the Crimson Avenger has to strike again?
Gruffi rolls his eyes as he hears Cubbi:
	Sheesh. Kids.
